2009 696, which 1100 forks are compatible ?

Hey, tried my best cross referencing this but the information I've gathered is too vague for me. I need forks for my 2009 695, and I'm thinking this is an opportunity to upgrade to something adjustable. Which year and model 1100 forks bolt right in ? I sourced some 2013 1100 EVO forks, but need some confirmation. As far as I can tell with the info I've gathered is that my only issue would be about 2cm extra fork needing to come up through upper triple in order to fix the ride height. I'm ok with that, and will use clipons anyway. Please advise !
