Some people are moving away from frame sliders that send force into the engine cases. I have been informed that some crashes have cracked cases where the engine to frame bolts run through. It must depend on how the frame attaches to the motor. This is relation to older models and I'm not sure if it applies to the newer frames. Thought it was worth sharing to assist with your research.

OP needs to tell more details ... like, intended use of the bike ...

For serious track / racing use, as Koko64 stated, there's always the chance of frame sliders doing more harm than good (at least, some people believe that).

BUT, if you are a street rider, having frame slider WILL pay itself when the tip over happens the first time.

Also,  keep in mind that frame sliders are supposed to sacrifice themselves in the crash.
What that means is that frame sliders are NOT supposed to be super strong.
No, it's not "more solid = better".

The delrin / duracon (they both are Polyoxymethylene (POM), the same stuff, different brand name) slider part
will / should break if they get hit with more than certain amount of force. (So that the slider won't transfer that impact (energy) to the frame engine mount area.

I use speedymoto on everything but the Panigales and new Supersports (where they are not available).  in the 8 years Ive been selling parts and seeing them get installed I have NEVER seen speedymoto cause more damage than they prevented.  this includes my own personal "test" where I high sided my S2R going about 40mph.
