2016 Monster 1200 S want to swap clusters with a 2018/2019

Hello! I have a 2016 Monster 1200 S I just bought, and would like to know if I can swap out the cluster from mine with one from a 2018 or 2019 model year?
My technical expertise is below novice. I was planning on having a dealer do it for me, but need to know if it can be done in the first place.
If this is not feasible, I wonder if the firmware on the current cluster can be flashed to a 2018/2019 revision, with changes appropriate for the 2016 model year?
I'm hoping that the electronic sensors have not changed so much that other mechanical changes would be required in order to get these displays (fuel level detector, changes to allow gear detection).
I am looking to get the gear and fuel level indicators on the panel like they have now.
