And speaking of Desert Sleds and Steve McQueen i.e. The King of Cool movie Icon in Bulllit, The Great Escape, and the best motorcycle movie ever: On Any Sunday. Feast your eyes on another beautiful motorcycle a Husqvarna 400 actually ridden by McQueen in the movie  On Any Sunday.  Much better looking than a desert sled of the time and faster too:

$320K for a motorcycle that cost about $1500 at the time and 30K for a Bell Helmet that cost $50.00 at the time is pretty crazy money!

If you have never seen these movies you should. Bullit had one of the best car chase scenes of  all time, Ford Mustang and Dodge Charger. The Great Escape had one of  the best motorcycle stunts at the time and of course On Any Sunday was the first motorcycle movie that featured motorcycling in good light as compared to the previous motorcycle movies that focused on Motorcycle gangs like Hells Angels on Wheels and The Wild One for example.
