Washed the bikes last night, forgot to dry with leaf blower. Woke up today, sobered up, attempted to moved bikes back into garage. 2007 S4RS fired right up, idled for a few seconds, lost all power and shut off. 30A fuse replaced, did it again. Replaced a second time, this time just turned the key on and ignition on, didn't blow. Started it up, blew a few seconds later.

I don't feel like tearing into this harness, so I thought I'd ask here first. Any suggestions?

Is this the 30 amp maxi fuse for the alternator circuit that we're talking about?

im not sure what circuit its for as i dont have a wiring diagram i just know its on the "passenger/curb/right" side of the battery(opposite the terminals) and is not in a fuse panel just on a lug attached to a bracket. was the first thing i saw when i lifted the tank so was the first thing i checked lol

Serious short!  Most likely between the fuse and battery or terminal 3 on the ignition switch.

That fuse is for the alternator, as well as the items howie mentioned.

You need to get a wiring diagram. Available from ducati.com, or in the back of your owners manual.

Glad that fuse is doing its job, if you replace it, disconnect the battery, especially overnight.
My feeling is that you get the bike to a bike tech or auto electrician.

Blow out the bike and  that fuse some more? That is the main fuse and it is not very water proof. Or possibly your RR just took a dump.

Issues like this are why I never wash my bike in a traditional sense, just give it wipedowns with gentle cleaner in a spray bottle and keep the underside clean with diesel fuel. It's more of a time-consuming process and I'm always tempted to use the foam cannon and hose rinse it, but I'd really rather not have these problems so I suffer the inconvenience. I hate corroded fasteners as well.
