Cable clutch. Feels good but people over adjust them without enough freeplay, frying plates and loosing hp sideways.

I think it looks like the result of a menage a trois between a 650 Bonnie, XR750 and a 900 Monster.

Bike's lookin' good!

How about this on the tank?  The logo during the time period of the original Scrambler.

I'll exhaust wrap the pipe under the heat shield which will be blacked out.

To ride it feels like an old M900 with a light flywheel and jet kit.
We can still be friends if you wrap the exhaust... but I gotta say I've never understood why anybody does that....

The black tank panels and new handlebars look the DK tho  Cool waytogo

I'd only wrap the pipe hidden under the heat guard, to insulate my right leg. It would not be seen but do it's job. Clearly the heat guard needs help. I wrapped the Evo pipe for 6 inches where it barely cleared the fuel pump cover.

I went lower again on the bars and can still stand up on faster dirt roads. The top triple, risers and steering head/neck of the frame are taller than on a Monster. Renthal Ultra Low in black, an inch lower than Monster bars ala flat track.

Standard gearing is 15/46. Yep 46. First Ducati I will gear UP. Going 15/43. A 16 T front is so tight a case saver  reportedly won't fit and stones jam the case.
Tranny feels like a close ratio box geared down on a short first gear.

There are reports of road debris, leaf litter, sticks or chain lube catching fire when in contact with the gigantic catalyc converter in warmer weather. Debris can build up on top of the cat as there's no hugger. Park in stubble/straw in summer and cause a bushfire.
