Small Parts- San Antonio
«
on:

I was cleaning my 695 Monster on Sunday and noticed a bolt missing from the small cover that covers the front part of the chain. I am also missing one endcap that goes on the end handlebars(little plastic dome looking piece)
Where is the best place to find these parts. Do I go to the Nearest Dealer? or take another bolt off and try and match it somehwere?
Thanks,
Wasabi

I wouldn't waste my time going to the dealership for a screw. It would probably take them two months to get it to you anyway. Just take another screw off the cover and go down to the home depot to match it up. You may get lucky and find some stainless too. As far as the barend, I doubt the dealer would have it in stock. I say aftermarket or bar end mirrors.

sears has SS metric screws in the loose parts bins. What you need is a 5mm allen head bolt about 1/2"-3/4" long
