touched by his noodly appendage

« on: August 27, 2008, 03:15:16 PM »

sweaty, itchy, salty, lint-collecting, hairy, unwashed balls.

so, i pulled the trigger on vista64 after my recent reinstall (just one of several hundred) experience with XPpro, and my subsequent fried WD external drive (bye bye, porn   Cry ).  so i needed a new wireless adapter for my rig anyway, and decided to get a 1tb seagate sata drive well i was at it and a copy of vista64 home premium.  installed vista64 last night on said seagate drive (left the other drives disconnected), and i'm now getting BSOD this afternoon, after all windows updates.  wow, is all i can say.  i'm happy for apple...i mean at this point, my next move will be to just sell my rig for whatever i can get for it on CL, and just buy a damn apple.  i did everything by the book on this, and make the beast with two backsing BSODs are my reward.  three of my four HDs have windows installs on them, and all three are basically make the beast with two backsed up, for no good reason.  anyway, i'm off to do some research and troubleshooting.  you would think a quad-core CPU, 2gb primo ram, 512mb ati vid card, asus m2n-e mobo, 1tb sata drive, and a beefy 550w power supply would do the job handily.  you would be mistaken.

make the beast with two backs you microsoft.  not that you don't hear that on a daily make the beast with two backsing basis.  i hope a goat corners you in a dark and damp alley one night, bill gates, and butt-rapes you for hours, and makes you tell him how much you like it.

kudos to apple.

and don't you make the beast with two backsing post on here saying how awesome apple is.  don't you god damned do it.  i get it, everyone gets it, i just wanted to build a god damn gaming system and i know that apple is better at just about everything (besides software availability).  this is purely to vent about the battered-wife-syndrome that is being a windows user.

You know you're not going to get your game on with a Mac so you better get with the program and start swapping out parts. Or you could try blowing into the slots. That worked on my old nintendo.

luckily i had my "special porn" safe backed up, and backed up a second time.  can't lose that stuff.  the porn i lost was probably a couple hundred gigs of generic porn...didn't want to back it up really because of how large it was.

i know...that's what she said.
