Looks like Pedrobot is tossing in the towel. Either that or he's definately not healthy yet. Disappointing. Maybe he'll pick up the pace tomorrow.

On the flip side, it looks like Jorge might actually have pieced himself together enough to ride decently. Poor guy (sorta, I think many are saying "Karma's a pregnant dog)...he's had a bunch of nasty get-offs. Ouch.

Casey Stoner fastest on Friday at Misano, but victory hopes thrown into doubt after 're-opening' a broken scaphoid bone.
Despite dominating both Friday practice sessions with a flawless opening day performance at Misano, Casey Stoner's San Marino Grand Prix hopes have been thrown into doubt by a freak wrist injury.
The reigning world champion finished the day a comfortable 0.418secs ahead of world championship leader Valentino Rossi - but somehow re-opened a broken scaphoid bone, damaged back in 2003, in the process.
"The scaphoid is a really strange one because there has been no impact on it," explained a surprised Stoner. "I was just adjusting my back protector before going out for one of my runs this afternoon and I felt some pain.
"It got worse as the session went on so we decided to check it out with the Clinica Mobile and I couldn't believe it when they showed me the x-ray - it seems the bone I broke in 2003 has re-opened."
The injury will make it extremely painful and awkward for Stoner to ride on Saturday, although the Australian will undergo physio and wear a special support in order to give it his best shot.
Someone sabotaged his bone!

So, what was it this time? Another bump?
Well, this championship is over and I gotta think Casey's starting to doubt that front end more and more which is baaaaad news for the team.
On a positive note, Lorenzo and Elias looked good and there was some great racing further down the order, especially Vermuelen and Toseland.

Wow.
Well, at least Stoner got his championship before Rossi got in his head and ended his career. Unlike Biaggi and Gibernau.
I kind of feel bad for Stoner.
Not really.

Maybe Rossi upgraded the curse for Stoner. Instead of "you will never win another race" which worked on Gibernau, the Stoner version is "you will never finish another race". Seems to be working so far.
Its frustrating being an aussie and a duc fan.

Yeah, I mentioned it before, but I fear the old Casey is starting to emerge again. I think he's just pushing harder and harder trying to break Rossi, and eventually dumps the bike. He doesn't want to race head to head with him, but he's dumping the bike trying to ride away.

It definitely looked like he tried to stuff it on that turn and overloaded the front, right?? He might've lost the rear, but it looked like he tucked the front....
-Hey, Elias made it up there repping Ducati at least...

For some perspective, my 3 year-old neighbor earned as many MotoGP points in the last two races as did World Champion Casey Stoner. And the 3 y/o crashed fewer bikes doing it.
That makes me
