So my buddy Kidd (black Dayton 675) talks me into meeting up with his OregonSportbike.com homies at the regular Friday water hole.
Micky Finn's, Woodstock at SE 43rd. I went out there tonight and met a bunch of rice burner riding guys and gals, all of them pretty cool.
Mickey Finn's is pretty nifty also. Bigger than I thought, with a lot of neighborhood patrons, I'm sure. Food was pretty good (bacon burger! woo-hoo!).
There's plenty of bike parking around the corner on 43rd (off the main drag) underneath the mango trees with picnic bench seating (OK, they're not mango trees, I'm taking poetic license here). It would have been almost excellent IF THE SUMMER WASN'T FRICKIN' OVER AND IT'S ALREADY COLD GOLDERN IT!!
It was fun parking the ol' pasta burner Duc among all the I-4s (& 1 daytona). The usual jokes abounded about is your clutch broken, do you need a valve job, etc.
Yeah, well kiss my Italian pooper, ye of the bland indistinguishable nondescript boring plastic-panelled bikes. lol
Good time, overall.
If you find yourself in Woodstock among all the local hipsters & hippies, head for Mickey Finn's.

PS Oh, yeah. should post it in the Sighted thread: black monster 620 or 695, low chrome pipes, eastbound on Woodstock about 8:00 PM! Rider in tan jacket with black helmet, I think. It weren't Krolik, though.
