Fleetwood Mac - Storms

IMHO, Stevie's best song ever.
Stevie sings and looks like an angel. Nowadays, people go gaga over shock jocks who don't exhibit close to her talent level. It used to be about the music, but now it seems to be about showing skin, showing cleavage, dancing, and shocking the audience. Where are the songs that will be remembered in years to come?

Unfortunately, you're both right and wrong.

Sure, there's a bunch of Katy Perry's, Kanye West's and American Idol derived "superstars" out there. Most will have their 15 minutes and call it a day.  Others, like Britney Spears, are still on the radar screen for some unknown reason.

Thankfully, there still are extremely talented artists out there like Norah Jones, Warren Haynes, Davy Knowles, Jonny Lang, Grace Potter, a group of teenagers from Casper, WY that I saw playing straight up blues a few months ago, guys at the local bar playing for the lonely few, etc.

The music business has changed, that's one thing that's a definite.  Good or bad?  Jury is still out on that. Thanks to technology, we're exposed to a lot more of it, much sooner, than ever before.

Who knows where we go from here.

I'm not saying there's no talent out there, it's just that a great deal of the fame and fortune seems to novelty acts and not the true musicians.
