wow, never gave him a second look being from the black crowes.
glad you woke me up.

The Crowes are one of the most underrated bands on the planet, IMO. Most people have no concept of the depth of their body of work....

As for Chris' solo stuff, check out "Big Moon Ritual" by the Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Good stuff.

I see your Chris Robinson and raise you.

RIP Jerry.

I'll add that I believe Warren Haynes to be one of the hardest working, versatile, and severely underrated guitarist/singer currently active.

After seeing Joe Walsh with Bob Seger, (Seger's drummer celebrated his 70th birthday that day, bad boy he is), and last month in Milwaukee I seen the Eagles I realized Rock and Roll is going to die.  Metal will probably live forever but good old live R&R is fading fast.    What new bands after 2000 could be considered R&R?  A few good Blues players yes but I can't think of one band.  Who am I missing?

The problem is too many categories of music. Rock as we know it may disappear but there will always be "rock bands"  [roll]
I would love to see joe walsh.
how would you categorize this awesome band ?

This song sums up how I feel about the way the world is working.

Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.

Cool but not "fun" to listen to, Of course there are a million types of rock, I guess I am going to miss the fun Rock, Seger, Walsh, Huey Lewis, Stones, rock you could dance to if you felt like it.  Volbeat holds three permanent spots in my trucks CD player, but I still don't see any fun rock and roll coming up.  Good thing there is enough recorded to last a millenium.
