I hadn't seen any of this footage in years. This was from the Riverboat concert in New Orleans. The blues flowed through this mans body (I heard BB King say that). Just look at his face. He is playing here with his brother, Kim Wilson and the Thunderbirds. Crank it up.

Did you notice when Jimmy went to play his solo, he looked over at Stevie to make sure if he wanted him up front? Respect.

I was fortunate enough to see Stevie live on more than one occasion, to include that final tour.

Unfortunately, I wasn't.  I did have the opportunities, but they never seemed to pan out for a myriad of reasons. 

Truly a bummer.

Thankfully, there are plenty of vids and audio preserving his magic forever.
