be very careful when taking this advice. i got bored one day and was like "im gonna get rid of the wire ties on the frame!!"
i tend to overdo things and now im about 6 hours into it with rerouting everything, removing the part of the wiring harness that goes in front of the steering stem, and preparing for new gauges. i took a good 4 hours to get all the wiring done and out of the way, but i still have to pull it all apart and shorten the wires and rewrap the harness so it eliminates just about everything.

aye, precisely why i've been looking for matching cable-ties... i could see how much fiddling it was going to be. mind you, i now have a garage and winter is almost here in the frozen north, lol. maybe in november i will prop the tank up and have a look... maybe not.
