Did you sell the 1098? (saw it on bikesales some time ago I think  Huh?)

Yeah, she's gone. Sold it about a month ago.

It was a real weapon.

I really enjoyed having the two bikes there for a while but in the end, I decided it would be best for my families financial situation to only have one, so I picked the monster.

I built the 1098s up from a repairable write-off. I bought it with the intention to turn it into a track bike or streetfighter but it need such little work, I just brought it back to original condition.
The monster I have had since new so I have a sentimental attachment to it. That and the sale of the 1098s could fund some go-fast bits for the monster that I had wanted to do for ages.

no, not yet. i'm thinking of going to bunings in mascot and looking for those rubber plugs you use with the steel chair legs

Where are your old plugs from the handle bar? Might do the job. (did for me)  Grin

I want to go with Matte Red and Matte Black stripes down the middle. OR Matte White with Matte Black stripes.  (Can ya imagine it in your head? What y'all think?)
