Did you lower the rear of the bike (or is it still stock height) ?
no, its stock (although set up for me)
really?  ive heard otherwise...

i am running the x-box without problem. no ecu adjsutments

btw,.......i ran with the udder only for almost 4k. only reason i went to the x-box was that it was too loud with just the udder. i felt stunned after a long ride

I know exactly what ya mean about the long ride thing with the open udder.
I dont think it is a matter of it being too loud, just wear the noise is (directly under your ear).
I want my bike to be louder than the open udder, but just have it exit behind me..

Another one that keeps the wheel open is the Leo Vince 2 into 1 ... slip on

... or full

This system is cool.... Leo Vince 2 into 1. I might go this route for my S2R1000. I only wish the bracket supporting the can did not wrap around it.  waytogo

How does the Leo full system compared to (sound wise) say to a Zard system with no baffles ?
Can that can be cut down to make it shorter ?
I want the system I end up with to be loud, and have that noticable from a block away Ducati rumble.

I am also very concerned with the overall looks of the system I end up getting. I want it to flow with the bike, and not be the main focal point on the bike. The Leo Vince just looks like a can stuck to some cool (which I like) head pipes. I come from the mind set that these bikes (and all bikes) should be clean/simple/low to the ground/and loud as hell. My CB450 I built awhile back shows the "mindset" I am talking about..
Everything that wasnt needed on the bike was removed. The pipes flow around the motor, under the seat, and exit behind the riders back right leg. All buttons/switches are either gone or moved to the h.lite bucket. I want to follow a similar "style" as I build my Monster..

Then go Arrow friend.

Go on youtube and you will see some S2R's with Arrows. They sound sick.

Does Arrow make any other systems that leave the back rear wheel open ?
Love the system you have (and am sure it sounds mean as hell), I just cant cover that pretty
back wheel..

There was a picture somewhere of a guy who'd done this, but I can't find it now. Here's a bad photoshop pic anyhow:

How's the sound of one of these systems compared to say a open Termi kit ?

Pardon my stupidity on this, but when people say they "cut the cans' are they just cutting the cans and re-installing the end caps ?
Is it really that easy ? If thats the case I think some cut down Zards are in my future..

That's all it is. But one thing to consider with the Zards, which may not be obvious from photos, is that the canisters gently taper wider from front to back, so maybe some end-cap modification would be required as well. But hey, just about anything is do-able.

not unless your me and some how ( i still cant figure it out) managed to chip the can, its a perfect cut with an ant crimp bite on it.

i run open udder too. i got so many headaches, its what caused me to start wearing earplugs. I cored my exahust 1/2 way but im gonna weld up some straight pipes instead.
