I purchased my 800s with remus slip-ons, but have the stock pipes off it. My fiance is interested in replacing the stock pipes on her 620. My question is, would there be any audible difference putting the stock 800 cans on her 620? She'll probably end up getting aftermarket slip-ons at somepoint, but I just got thinking since they're sitting in the garage... thanks!

If the pipes are the same size, just go ahead and try it.  Shouldn't take too long, right?  You don't need them fully mounted to fire up the engine and give it a listen.

Since the cans are a bit smaller on the 800, I'd expect it to be a little louder, but not a lot.  The smaller cans might look good, though!  waytogo

Why would the cans be smaller on the 800?

They do look to be the same length, I was curious as to whether internally they would breath a little better.

You're right, they are sitting there, I might have to look into coring them...

The shotgun style cans always look a little smaller to me than the low mounts.  I've never compared directly, though.  I guess it's just an optical illusion.

the shotguns are smaller, but we're talking about M800 cans, not S2R800...
