A few of us are meeting at the Presidio Theatre at 9:45 am tomorrow, Sunday, September 7th.

Depending on the fog level, we're either getting off at Stinson Beach or Lucas Valley Rd off of 101.  Heading to Pt. Reyes for brunch, then through Inverness to Drakes Bay Oyster Farm for a quick oyster stop.  May ride down to South Beach on the newly paved roads.  Then back to SF through Nicasio.

It's going to be an easy paced ride (my buddy just bought his Turbo Busa and it's his first longish ride).  If there are faster folks joining, we can do 2 groups.

Who's In:
CharliesAngel
Benson C.
Ilya
Jammen
Keith S.
Ptam
Greyduc
Kevin (696; not on DMF yet)
Guf
Eddie (random Hayabusa rider who joined us)

I was just out that way today with a few folks.  No fog.  In fact, it was hot by 9 a.m.  I don't know what the weather report says, but I was riding all day today and it never did cool down!  Have fun all.  Gonna be on the pedaler tomorrow in that neck of the woods.   waytogo

Hey ... great ride guys!  Thanks Charlie for organizing ... I think I still owe you for the oysters.

It was an amazing ride - beautiful weather, great roads, good riders and some good grub too!  Wink
We had 8 riders at one point but a total of 10 that came and went throughout the morning/afternoon.  Unfortunately Greyduc had a flat tire.  Jammen and I waited with him for Allen, a good Samaritain and Owner of Sportbike Dynamics in Petaluma, who towed his Monster to his shop and changed out the wheel.  Good thing too because the inside of the tire had started powdering off (sorry, don't know the "technical" term for this).  It had that burning tire smell...

Jammen and Ptam: THANK YOU guys for taking the newbies under your wings
Guf: Great meeting you and glad that you are enjoying the new bike so much

Oh, and Patrick, pay me back in ribs for the oysters please!  Grin Grin

Hey yeah, Thanks everyone!  first group ride and first time meeting anyone.  It is always a little awkward meeting a large group of people for the fist time and you all made it very comfortable.
As for the ride: way more fun and safe feeling being on the freeway or road with a group of others.

Looking forward to next time.

That ranger was awesome!

Between wanting to buy a 'tard, taking pictures, and posing with us he was definitely a great guy!   Police

Overall that was a great ride!
(when the next ride for oysters gonna be?   Grin)
