I am in need of new tires. Must get them before the AR trip. I run Power Race on my R6. Do not know what to put on the 1098.

I am in the exact same boat. I am currently at 2800, and will be adding a few hundred more this week.

I put some Pilot Power 2CTs on the 1098... No Bueno. Going to go with some Pirelli Super Corsas

I like the qualifiers, they have tons of grip and wear fast. 3200 mi and my rear was shot.

I like qualifiers also, but I want to try out the double compound, soft on the edges and harder in the middle. I do alot of highway to and from work anout 50 miles round trip!

Im going to go ahead and change mine before HC. After talking to Derek yesterday I feel like mine are indeed worn beyond their prime. Derek was describing how a flat spot on top of the tire would cause the bike to turn in rather abruptly and unexpectedly and that was exactly how it felt when we rode on Sunday. I think Ill get the Qualifiers again, but something a of a little harder compound in the middle might be best seeing as most of my miles are commuting. Any suggestions?
