I just bought my first Ducati, an '07 695 at the beginning of April (2008).  I picked it up in Florida and rode it over 1000 miles home.  Nice way to get acquainted, don't you think?  I've been riding longer than a lot of you have been around - since 1975.  A lot of bikes over the years.  In addition to the 695, I have an '06 Goldwing with a full traxxion suspension and an '05 VTX 1800 Neo.  All fun but very different bikes.

I already have a set of GSXR 1000 forks for the 695 and have ordered a set of .85 springs to go in them.  Qfactor is machining spacers for me, and then I figure a rainy Saturday morning and I'll have new forks.  Then I have to learn how to dial things in.

It's got the full Termi, ecu, and open airbox.  The cores are out and it sounds and runs great.  New paint this winter, but for now I'm riding and preparing to do some suspension mods.
