Wear earplugs?:  yes or earbuds w/ music on low

Helmet:  Arai RX-7 Corsair (Hayden replica, It's OK now... he rides a Ducati!)
Gloves:  Cortech Scarab RR (only brand I found that fit my short fingers)
Jacket/Suit: Ducati IOM '78 Leather (cold), Dainese Perf Leather (hot), Dainese "Zentex" Textile (Really Hot/Commute)
Pants: Dainese Perf Leather, Dainese D-Dry something-or-other, Dainese Drake Air, looking for some "Moto" jeans...
Boots: A* SMX Boots or Sidi Doha
Back protector: need one
Underneath: nothing special
Wear earplugs?: depends on the ride (short ride no freeway, then prob not)
Accessories: SW-Motech tank bag for extra glasses, walet, etc.

Boots: Sidi strada air, Sidi vertigo corsa

Back protector: Dainese G2 air

Underneath: Underarmor moisture wicking(summer)undershirt, Underarmor hair cover (no smelly helmet or helmet hair allowed) Underarmor compression(warmth) shirt.

Wear earplugs? No, but I should, I have hearing loss from when I used to drive truck.

Accessories:  Large Jansport hiking style pack with hydration bladder.

Gloves: 5ive for short finger like me

Jacket/Suit: Dainese lucky black for city ride,Delmar jacket for long ride.

Pants: Ae jeans.

Boots: Dainese torque in

Back protector: Dainese G2 air

Underneath: Quick dry shorts and tank top and shirt for city ride.Thermal shirt for long ride or wind proof.

Wear earplugs? No. i love termi scream.

Accessories:  Dakine snowboard back pack.

Wear earplugs? Only on Long 3+ hr trips - other then that I listen to books on my I-Pod

Purpose: Commute 25mi each way, temps 20's to 90's F, some rain, carry lunch & laptop
