NOt sure if you all had seen Asado's ride. but can someone help convince him to do a write up.

+1 to that.
Asado and Celli's bikes are both top notch examples of what mine aspires to (but can never) be.
  Great job guys! waytogo

This thread is actually for the Bike of the Moment which is on the forum front page. You might want to post that in the Bikes of the DMF thread (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=205.0).

If you'd like to submit a Bike of the Moment, PM ducpainter or darylbowden with your submission along with links to high resolution pictures and a write up about the bike.

Hope that helps you out.

Is that yours?   Shocked Shocked Shocked

I so hate you.   Grin

not really...

well yes I do. laughingdp laughingdp

Me, too.

In 2002, I was just leaving a job.  Against my better judgement, I picked up a cycletrader or something and way in the back there was a no photo ad under "European Bikes" for a Bultaco.  I called, turned out to be a Metralla in perfect condition with 400 miles on it.  Not only that, but it had all the stock stuff installed, and the "Kit America" factory racing stuff NEW IN A BOX.
For once in my life, my common sense told me it may not be a really bright idea to spend $4k on a smoker street bike (After all, I already owned two RD400 Daytona Specials) so I passed.

I vowed to myself I'd never make THAT mistake again! laughingdp  (and I haven't, which is way I have 14 bikes.)

Absolutely beautiful little bikes, terrifyingly fast in the hands of a madman.
loved the faster it revs the brighter the headlight glows. Roll Eyes
The fully enclosed drive chain was nice. Smiley

How about and update on the BOMb, Celli's bike is sweet but it's been up forver.
There seems to be a lot of mod projects going all over the board.

Not enough sweet bikes...  ?

Yes, I also would love to see a new BoMB! There are a lot of great bikes on this forum. I see my bike live almost every day. laughingdp  So I like to see something new too!
For updates of my bike, from now on, you can go to my website www.marcelbastiaans.com and click on 'pics marcel' if you like.

I see we have a new BoMB! That's great!
I like to thank all the flounders for having my bike as BoMB the last couple of months. It felt like having my birthdayparty for a very very long time!  Cheesy

Thanks again!

And LYD, congrats!!!! A great bike and I love the yellow with black!!!

I'm in lust with Little Yellow Duck's M750.  Go get the restraining order now to save time.

I'd been wondering what it might look like to redo my 96 m900 in yellow, and now I know.  Congrats on putting together a gorgeous ride.
