I currently own a matteblack scorpion Exo600 and am looking for an upgrade...As much as i like wearing all black (my jacket, boots and gloves are black as well) I want to be able to switch it up with a girly touch. I have even considered getting it custom airbrushed but have yet to get a good quote. The only one i got was around 400 (for that price i should just get a nice new one!)
I have been looking at Icon (lots of cool gfx options for women)
Shark
Arai
Shoei
and Suomy...
So lets hear it for helmets-from your experience which is the best for the money, best fit for a woman's head, and nicest designs?

Does this bike make my butt look fast?

I have a Shoei rf1000, as does my bf, and just about everyone else I know with a narrow (oblong) head and face. It's a fantastic helmet, and I think it does come in some more girly designs, although I went with the plain silver.

+1

Mine is the "anthracite" color, basically dark gray. But they do have designs. I love the fit.

that fit would be great for my head then. I know they have a butterfly design one, looks good online but i didn't like it too much in person  Undecided

I would swear on my Shark RSR2 helmet.  It's built to some pretty high standards, the visor is Formula 1 racing thick (you can't imagine how thick, it doesn't flex at all), it's got amazing "crumple zones" in it, and it's the best fitting helmet i've ever had.  The visor will lock permanently in place, too, so it won't blow open at all.

I have a longer oval head and it fits with no pressure points; I take a large and have a 7 1/4 head.

They have a limited design/color choice, but i'd take anything they have knowing what I know now. Smiley  If you have unlimited $$ order their designs from a european vendor...they've got the cool designs over there that are not imported here.

I have an arai, that ended up being too big (m).
Trying on all their smalls now, and they are pretty good.  Looks like I might end up with a profile.

I am thinking I would rather buy a base color and get my painted.
Have no idea where to go for that...  but what fun!   Smiley

That's one bad-ass helmet BP Grin

For stock designs this is my favorite. I should have just coughed up the extra cake for this one instead of my flat black HJC:

I have the Suomy White Flowers.  Out in Indy last weekend though I did try on some of Shoei helmets; may pick up the RF-1000 at some point.

I have an Arai Quantum because it's the only thing I've ever found that fits. Between the Asian head shape and the XXS size, I'm kinda screwed. I noticed there were tons of pink helmets in stores this year, and I'd probably have picked one up, but none fit me.

This is mine... Small- Shoei X-11 Vermeulen 3 Blue- Great on the noise. Even better with the blue color of my bike!  Wink I spent about 2 hours trying on different ones and wearing them around the shop, this one was the clear winner...

Just rode on the highway for the first time today. My HJC Type-O is noisy as hell! Sad

Still working on winter wear... So far my husband has used layering but we are both looking into leathers now that it has seriously turned fall here in the great PNW- The chilly mornings and intermittent rains have begun! Love to hear others recommendations, I have also noted a few in the monster women's forum thread called Women's Gear...
