i use my pack almost daily - even in the winter. today I had to dump it out to run to the auto parts store to buy some battery acid for a project bike. that pack is so incredibly useful.

+1, i use it to do almost everything, trips to the store, going to school(even if im going on foot) the way it supports the weigth and redistrubutes it to the chest makes your shoulders much more comfortable, especially when you are lugging around laptop+schoolbooks+gym clothes daily. it takes its tool on you.

the US10 pacl can be used as a tailpack if you take off the plastic cover.  Ive actually hung the US10 off the right side of the bike under the gas tank (thank goodness for the trellis frame).  Im not sure im always going to mount it there but ive tested it and it doesnt interfere with anything and the oil cooler doesnt cause any issues with heat either.

the RS25 is nice, even with my speedhump (Dainese Delmar) but im sure it would fit better without it... i just like the jacket so much so i just live with it.

that answers my question, I have the Delmar too, love the jacket, hate the hump, it's annoying trying to get a normal backpack over it...

yeah, i admit the hump does cause some issues but as others have mentioned... i love the jacket too much and the kriega doesnt feel too awkward with it on so i live with it.

I think when im just wearing the jacket the hump is just dead sexy  [laugh] [bacon]

Reviving this thread, Ive finnaly put the order in for a Kriega R30.

It acutally saddens me that my R25 is going to be retired. Ive had the damn thing for 5 years and it has gone with me through every weather condition you can imagine. I love the thing to death. it is still plenty usable, however the lack of water proofness and the inability to organize anything in it has made me realize its time to get something thats water proof and has some damn pockets in it!

5 years, and the best backpack ive ever owned! Heres to you my Kreiga R25!

To your 25  [beer]

The 30 is one large waterproof bag - outer pockets not waterproof - right?
252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it
