Snap-on... All the way!
What would that kit that Iain posted cost if it was Snap-On?

The pic of the tools is so big, they didn't have enough lighting power to light the tools in the back!

All that and you still have to buy the socket for a SSS.
That is still very sexy though.

Agree with previous poster, craftsman is crapsman now. I won't buy any more tools from sears. Their sockets don't fit as tight as my snap-on ones, I had a torque wrench handle break, and they are expensive compared to other good brands (proto).

Picking this up on monday...
Marked down to $314.90 because of a dent on the back of the box.
Plus I get 10% off of that!
It's nice working for a company that is partially owned by sears!

Almost all of my tools are craftsman, and I only have two complaints. I had a metric allen head socket set and two of them got rounded over and no longer work. I wasnt using them in the wrong size hole, the metal was just SOOO soft that they turned into circles with 6 bumps.
I also bought a 10 drawer 12"x26" tool box with ball bearing slides, and one drawer just slid out and all of the little bearing just scattered! I was also a little disapointed how flimsy it is.

Not that it helps when your working on your bike but doesn't craftsman have a lifetime replacement on all tools?

Yup.
I'm sure some things aren't covered, but most anyway.

So to answer my previous post, I pulled this up.
"RAFTSMAN® mechanics tools and CRAFTSMAN® hand tools have a Lifetime Warranty… they are guaranteed forever …unconditionally, no questions asked. If one should ever fail to give you complete satisfaction, Sears will replace it, free of charge.*
Replacement:
A proof of purchase is not necessary to replace a tool. All that is necessary is that the "Craftsman" name is stamped on the tool. A 5 digit number located on the tool is required.
Important:
We provide repair kits for ratchets. Ratchet handles that are broken or bent are covered by the Craftsman lifetime warranty.
*CRAFTSMAN mechanics tools & CRAFTSMAN hand tools include: Sockets, Wrenches, Wrench sets, Hex wrenches, Ratchet wrench handles, Micro adjustable torque wrenches ( not including calibration), Pipe wrenches, Hammers, Screwdrivers, Pliers, Cutters, Scroll and Metal saws (except saw blades), Hand drills, Hand saws, Squares, Levels, Drift punch and drive punch sets, Shears are covered by the Craftsman lifetime warranty.
Craftsman Tools not covered by the lifetime warranty include: Micro-adjustable torque wrench calibration, Hand tools cutting edges, Portable electric tools, Bench and Stationary tools, Battery operated tools, Precision measuring tools."
Good enough for me.
And I use my tools every day!

For all my sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers and allen keys I use snap-on for this very reason. Their system (flank drive maybe?) actually works and "grips" the bolt/screw/whatever I'm turning and gives positive feedback. Most the other stuff in my box is craftsman though (except for my snap on digital torque wrench...)
