Does it have to be a 900? There is an awesome looking 1000 on eBay at the mo with just about everything done to it - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/330641441467?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Was looking at that yesterday on ebay, An 03 model 5,050 klm  Shocked:-\ Undecided
Wouldn't mind it for spare parts Wink

We tried to buy that bike a year ago ... but it turned out to be much cheaper buying a fridge less than half the age.

Just managing everybody's expectations ... I wonder how much the owner has changed his?

Owner must want alot, has put big dollars in with awesome parts. You rarely get that money back. They are better off putting it back to stock and selling off the parts to have any hope of getting some of his money back. Bloody nice bits on it.

Would be a bit of a dream bike for me. Just needs comp raised and DP cams and some further inlet tuning and you got 100hp. With the juicy suspension and light weight it would be a weapon alright.

Thanks Nibor and Roaduser, I better try and find the original style beer tray to put on the old girl (95 M900). Whether its a carbon or plastic one doesn't matter. An after market one specific to my model similar to stock would be fine.
Hopefully someone will find one in the shed.
In Vic we're starting to get hassled about stuff like that, I've already put the stock clutch cover back on.

Rightly or wrongly, we listed his mods into categories ... those that we were willing to pay extra for (eg. the boingers); those we would accept but not pay for the privilege (eg. the fasteners); those that are not not really what we would like (eg. those bull horn bars) ... and made an assessment on cost - we were thousands off the mark (and we were willing to pay more than the S4Rt was advertised for).

I had a feeling he was being asked to sell (if you know what I mean) as he was going to be out of the country for a while. There is a big difference between having to sell, wanting to sell and being asked to sell ... this is reflected in price expectations.

But hey, its another year on ... value typically trends down ... and his potential market is continually decreasing.

Don't be afraid ... space won't be a problem by the time the deal is done - what other excuse could there be?

You mean the Pinarello frame?  Sorry, it's been sold.

However i do have a 54cm Pinarello Dogma running 10spd Ultegra, thick carbon handlebars, carbon seat post, FZick seat, Easton EC90 wheels which i would sell if offered the right price. The frame is a replica, wheels purchased from the US.

I haven't got a pic on this PC but i'll try and take some in the morning. Attached looks pretty much identical except my frame is white/blk. Rides as well as the Pinarello Paris i had before it. Wasted $10k on that bike, glad i didn't waste $20k on a real Dogma.
