With a heavy heart, it's time to sell my Monster.  I'm hoping it'll be a temporary thing, but circumstances have changed for me, and it's no longer the ideal transportation that it was when I bought it a few years ago.

So, I have a 1993 Monster 900, the very first Monster.  It's in excellent condition, as far as I know - it's my first bike and I am just guessing that the usual wear and tear is, for a nearly 20 year old bike, excellent.

Since I bought it a few years ago I've had it serviced twice by Euro Twins, and it's got a chain that's less than a year old, the clutch lever-to-clutch has been serviced, I've replaced the emulsion tubes, new battery as of last month.  Euro Twins put in a new clutch basket and plates when I bought the bike.  It has Pirelli tyres on it that are, if I remember correctly, about a year old with lots of tread left.

I've been told the mirrors and headlight are not original, but I don't know this for sure.  I do know that it has Termi pipes on it, and when it starts on the 3rd crank (even on these cold winter mornings) it really sounds amazing.  All my neighbors love it.

The bike's in Queensland, close to Ipswich.  Based on bikesales it seems this vintage goes for ~$6k, so I'm hoping that in good shape and well maintained it might be worth $5500 to someone.

Here's a photo, taken a few days ago:

So yeah!  It's a classic!  Queue up in an orderly fashion and let's see your cash!  Wink

Hey guys..
Selling a pair of high mount staintune pipes with silencers off my 620.

No idea what they're worth, they're mostly in good condition, just a few scuff marks on them.
No idea if they fit other models either, though I presume they would!?

Spontaneous Purchase

Ducati Borgo Panigale Men's Leather Jacket

I bought this jacket about a year ago in Italy. Sadly I've never worn it. Nor probably will. So might as well sell it.

Paid about $600 Aussie from memory, seen them online for about the same.

I'll take $300 ono (plus postage if necessary - pickup is Ryde, Sydney).

Size is mens large.

Website Blurb: Named after the neighborhood in Bologna Italy where the Ducati factory is located, the Borgo Panigale jacket brings Italy to you.
It's simplicity understates it's style.  Predominantly black, with the colors of the Italian flag proudly highlighting the sleeves.
Like many of the other Ducati jackets, the Borgo Panigale jacket features three front pockets for easy stowing of personal items.  Adjustable wrist gussets, waist snaps and a button collar help you customize the fit.
Across the chest and on the back, "Ducati" is humbly displayed, along with Borgo Panigale on the sleeve and back as well.
This casual jacket is a must have for any fan of Ducati motorcycles.  It combines the motorcycle legend's style and adds the flavor of the proud neighborhood 'where it all happens'.

Steve, slash, Rendang, am a bit worried about you and that Ducati jacket that you have your heart set on. Won't the red clash with your tangerine bike..?     Roll Eyes
And a PM sent i see, that price is more than reasonable so i'm hoping that you are not trying to screw the poor guy down any more you tight arsed southerner....... Grin
Just buy the jacket, then test it out this weekend up the old road cos Desmond is hanging out for that coffee that you also owe him.......  coffee

Brian, slash, Teff, I know this is not the sort of contribution we would normally expect from your good self, I can only imagine you've been led astray by one of your less principled cohorts.
As for owing somebody a coffee, I can't remember who or what your talking about there  Huh?. Good point about the colour clash though, I might have to slash my offer by another 50%.(tight arse ? again I just don't know what your talking about  Huh?)

I'm also selling my high mount Termi slip ons which I didn't get the chance to mount
One of the exhausts has scratches from the last guy I bought them off. All it needs is a new pop rivet and it'll cover most of the damage.
Happy to sell them for $600
