This V Raptor 1000 will be going on FleaBay soon, not everybody's taste,  or mine, but underneath is a lotta Italian niceties.

No reg, no RWC but it's a gem, 30,000km . Located Melb, female owner now in US

It was for sale in Moto One until they closed,  now to clear at  $ 6,500, anyone innerested lemme know.

Anyone have an oil cooler for a 2V they want to sell ?
I think there's one for sale on the old site - looks like good cond and basically complete (possibly except the valve which goes under the oil filter - definitely worth checking).  Probably worth checking with the seller to see if he will post to Aust.  They do make a good difference - I put one on my 620 and it's helped keep it around 5-10 degrees cooler from what I've experienced.

I've been watching this one.

You can bet it will go for a lot.

I watched a second hand DP gel comfort seat go off earlier in the week. Ended up at $355 + about $15 delivery!. It originally had a start price of $200 and a buy it now price of $300. (which disappears after a bid is made)

I had priced the same @ Frasers who said $400 new

ebay is not about free market, supply / demand or 'bargains'.

ebay is about self imposed competition by people whose competitive nature is funnelled into a commercial / consumptive avenue instead of physical pursuits like it should be.

thrill of the hunt / win. that is all.

Not me.  Like Paul says a new one from the states is about AU$600 so why would ya pay that much for used? I'm not sure all ebay auctions are completely fair.  Commiserations to the new owner if it is one of us but at least you'll have a comfy bum.  waytogo

You can get bargins on ebay - I got a front wheel a lot cheaper than a newbie.

Yes. No.  Still got to do a bit of a touch up on it.  bit of gravel rash from previous owner but nothing dramatic. Then have to find bearings to suit.  Not getting any help from local shops but certain people in US helping with advice.  Ducati dealers arghhhhhh.

I'd also suggest the seller bought the thing at an exchange rate much closer to 1:1, so has probably done quite handsomely out of it.

With the apparent interest in this one item myabe we should petition for a group Ozmo discount.

it was bought off an aussie by the look of it so the exchange rate wouldn't come into it, although, if he/she paid that price for it when the ex/rate was nearly 1:1 they would have paid pretty close to new price inc. freight if not more!
If there is a group buy i'd be interested!!!!!
