check with your  anodizer most the parts on monster has too much magnesium too anodize i tried and they just go slate grey too black and rubs of its called smutting , when you anodize only the aluminium will anodize the other metals will try too dissove causing smutting thats why they use 600 series alu so it will anodize just trying too save you money , try powder coating its a tuff as cheers bazz

Thanks Bazz, gave up on the Idea of doing any anodising, will just machine the pegs for better grip and give them a polish.

G'Day again Ducatters  Grin

For sale: A pair of exclusive Rizoma bling items at a bargain price.

First, the softening up line:  These things sell for US$107 each.  Yup each.  And you need 2 of em.  See >> http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_32_210_397&products_id=1397  So... a new pair is gonna cost you US$214 ....which is what? About AU$235... + shipping  Shocked

Fits M1100 and M696 for sure and is alledged to fit Hypermotard, Multistrada 1000 and Sport 1000..... and maybe others at your own risk.

I'm prepared part with not one but both of these magnificent items for the knock-down and reduced price of AU$160 the pair (and not a penny less, so dont even think about it  cheeky) shipped within Aus.

PM me if you're interested.

G'Day Ducatters  Grin

Surplus to requirements but in perfect condition, I have for your delectation one SpeedyMoto Crankshaft cover in natural clear anodized billet aluminium (its the silver one pictured in the middle).  Fits M696/M1100 for sure. The manufacturer also claims it will fit your Multistrada but I cant personally guarantee that.

http://www.speedymoto.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=07-0203CLR&Category_Code=CCC

RRP is around AU$65 plus freight from Americaland.....   Yours for AU$35 shipped within Australia.

Have you tried Silverwater wreckers
you might also try giving Gowenloch's a call they usually have a decent inventory of bits'n'pieces.

call ca cycleworks and buy a pair of dyna coils, they're MUCH better than std ones and a LOT cheaper. with the aussie dollar the way it is at the mo you may be surprised how affordable they are!
