Johnopaul your problem might be that there are not many 696 owners on the forum.
Most here have Classic Monsters, the newer breed seem to be new owners to Ducati and I don't
think they seem to look for places like the DMF.

Good luck with your sale though, are you still staying in the family if you are trading the 696?

thanks mate, iam not 100% sure at this stage, but iam looking at  a 07 s4rs, just not sure if i want to spend the required $$ Smiley

WANTED!
carbon fibre left hand side cover preferably with the "S4R ducati" sticker in the original weave.
i smashed mine with a spanner adjusting my rear ride height, so if you plan to adjust yours, take the side pod off beforehand!

WANTED
LAMS legal Monster for friend who wants to start riding. Anyone know of a seller?

I'm considering selling my 05 620 which is currently LAMS registered here in VIC.  It's red, has relatively low k's, rego till July, near new Pilot Road 2 tyres and does have a few mods - S4R forks, Magura S4R bars, S4R triple/risers, Termis, upgraded 4 spot brembos/320mm rotors/Ferodo Platinum pads, new sprockets (14t front), DID gold chain, oberon bar end mirrors, fender eliminator, rizoma grips, K+N air filter.  I'd be after around $12K for it - let me know if they're interested.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi, if the 620 is not lams registed where your friend is (which would be sad as it sounds awesome) then on the trading post at least last i looked there was quite a few of grey imports monster 400, i have seen one in the flesh and it looked good, a mini monster  laughingdp.  Good luck to your friend do not know about the other states but Tas licence method sucks - 6 months on Ls then 1 year of P1 then a year of P2 and anyone that is on the P1 or 2 get told different stories as to what this means.(also they put an 80k limit on the Ls' and P1s)  So glad that I did Q ride a few years ago, but have been told things have changed in QLD too.

There are some benefits to being old and getting you licence on a dinosaur then?  Roll Eyes  laughingdp I would hate all those restrictions as I struggle staying under general everyday speed limits now!

Thanks paul but I think your monster sounds a bit too good for him. I'll let me know but I didn't think he wanted to spend that much.
I'd hav e to check to make sure that the LAMs is transferable to NSW as well.

LAMS Vic and LAMS NSW are transferable I believe they come from the same list of approvals.

OK folks, second hand bling sale:

Items for sale are:

Rego tube. Anodised billet ends and main bracket. Really good quality. $30

Billet bar ends. Anodised gold, with adapters to suit 19mm and 17mm bars. $30

Oil fill plug. Suit all Ducs. Unlike the crap plastic standards one (fitted to all bikes including the Desmosedici  Shocked) this one does not leak...$10

CRG long levers. These suit the 'coffin style master cylinders on 600, 750 and 620 Monsters. Small mark on end of one lever that you can't see when it is fitted. $160

And lastly some anodised billet valve caps. $5??

What's going on with the gold sale?
Your not selling bits before a bike sale are you?
