Yeah, you guessed it. Not too hard to see I suppose. Despite my previous statements about keeping it forever, I think it is time to move on. The reality is my supersport is not getting any more comfortable to ride and I am not getting any younger. The result is I am riding it less and less each year. Its a bit of a vicious circle. I know one answer is a cup of concrete and harden the make the beast with two backs up, but there are other alternatives...So, I am looking to sell it and get something I can use more. Don't know exactly what yet, but it won't be jap that's for sure. The new Multi looks interesting, but the price tag is more than bit out of my 'staying married' territory  Roll Eyes

Don't leave the family!
I know of one recent seller who is thinking about another Monster.
There's plenty of reasonable Duc's out there to buy.

whoever buys Trev's bike will be very very happy with it - that's a great example of a bike in near showroom condition..

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!  bang head bang head

My dream bike goes on sale and all I can do is hope it goes to someone who loves it as much as me (is it wrong to covet someone elses bike? Roll Eyes). If it hadn't been taking delivery of a 2009 Model Female Monster, I would have been around knocking on the door with a wad of cash and massive grin on my face.

Good luck to whoever buys it, it's never even been wet AFAIK. That baby at full noise is a audiovisual spectacular.  waytogo

Unless I win powerball tonight. Or lotto on Wednesday.

Dude, one S2R800 and one M696 might just equal one S4Rt  Evil

I know it's a whole different world of pain ( and Steph's not reading the DMF atm or I am in deep deep shite) but it may be a doer. The 696 is just sitting there loosing value right (just like the Bronsters GT200 vespa!)

For Sale Ducati Monster S2R 800*

Unfortunately that sad time has come where the Monster needs to be sold but it is for genuine reasons - with an expanding family something has to go, I am sure you understand.

The bike has been lovingly cared for by a little bloke who rides it gently. Services have been conducted at Ducati Penrith. A few tasteful modifications have been made but nothing which will effect the reliability of this wonderful machine, such as:
. full termi exhaust
. carbon fibre bits and pieces
. LED indicators
. bar end mirrors
. pazzo levers
. etc, etc

Price has been set for a quick sale due to family reasons as mentioned above, but due to the low price for such a well maintained and loved machine the price is not negotiable at $17,990.  Located in the Hills district of Sydney and ready for immediate delivery. PM Craigo now and make this happen. Picture below:

Nibor, Provided your 750 has the standard 'coffin' style master cylinders then yes, they will fit. Normal postage would be about $6, express post (next business day delivery) is $8. PM me if you want to go ahead.

Cheers, ducsport
