Hey all,
I'm thinking about a project with my seat. I'd like to trial a couple of custom seat designs & essentially need a seat to play around with - I don't want to butcher my original one, in case it all goes pear shaped.

Does anyone have a seat that would fit an '08 S4RS that I could buy? Perhaps someone has access to a bike that is being wrecked or something similar.

As long as it is structualy in good shape, I don't mind what condition the seat covering is in.

Let me know if you can help.

I FOUND ONE!!!!

I had this mid pipe custom made for my S2R800 by a local craftsman. He had done a few before mine and was recommended to me by two fellow monster owners.

I had it made to get rid of the ugly and heavy cat converter but kept the original end cans. I think it was on my bike for about 10,000km before I picked up a full Arrows system with carbon end cans. Since then its been boxed up in the garage but its now time to let it go to a new home. It is free of any dents but does have some pitting from general use although its limited to the underside so your not likely to see it unless you are laying under the bike.

This was specifically made for an S2R800 so I'm not sure if it will fit anything else. You will need to keep the first part of the pipe from the front cylinder, the "s" pipes and the end cans. Importantly, it has a crossover between the two pipes which is essential for good performance and sound.

I recall this cost me about $400. I'll let it go for $250 plus postage.

i always thought heated grips to be a bit "girly". something for a full dresser Harley or Goldwing.

but you have me thinking for that price it could be quite nice. just have to make sure you cant tell i have them!! haha

Girly  Roll Eyes
who cares what people think ,
after last winters Blue Mountains ride with thick frost on the ground , over the top of the mountains I couldn't get my fingers onto the brake to stop
it literally took a few seconds to get them to open up
scary and dangerous.
Don't judge until you have used them they actually make winter riding very enjoyable ,

there is only one part of a mans body that should be stiff....................
but that a whole other story laughingdp

Hmm stiff yes it should be only one place dez. I would never call anyone a girl for having heated grip. I would probably try and nick them  Shocked

OK, the stable of 3 has been fun for a little while, however the boss has said that "No Exhaust" or other Bling for the S4RS until it is a stable of 2.....so regrettably my M900 Special is up for sale... Will be sad to see it go..... Still actually really enjoy riding it over the S4RS....Just carb'd raw, dirty torque, amazing sound and the true honest Monster thrill...
