Not sure if this needs to be clarified but not all FI tanks were plastic.

But I don't know if they all fit or not - too technical for me.

I'd trade my daughter for a proper metal tank that would fit my bike.  The plastic one's bloody hopeless.

i have a spare metal tank! but im about to cut it up to show more of the top cylinder head.......   Evil

my spare tank once had a small dent from a push over accident. but once replaced under the other persons insurance the dent was a very easy fix. Are they really that hard to get hold of?

Well so much for that.  She claims I'm not allowed to trade her.  Something about human rights violations and slavery and suchforth.  Kids these days - they're all bush lawyers.

Hmmmm. Hadn't thought about metal ones fitting but I suppose there is no reason why they wouldn't. It might give me more fuel capcity but I'd be more confident a plastic one would fit.

I have been watching ebay for a while. A few come up in the US but postage would be a pregnant dog.

Anyone feeling like filling up the garage !! maybe a S4RS, and a 1098S thrown in !!!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ducati-1098s-and-Ducati-Monster-S4RS-Collector-items-/170678212184?pt=AU_Motorcycles&hash=item27bd36d658#ht_722wt_1139

Not a bad way to do it, if you had a few spare coins kicking around !!!
