Details: 2006, 23 kms, serviced by d'Moto, 4k on Michellin Pilot Road 2's, $9k or so. I'm in Drummoyne, NSW.
When I sell my 620, I will be looking for a Red S2R 800
SOLD
...and now suffering a bit of sellers remorse
Melvin's bike not for sale anymore, so am now looking for...
Red
S2R 800 or 1000 (06,07) with low km's in tip top condition. Have checked out Bikesales, but no real options that suit in NSW. Have contacted a couple interstate options also...
Wouldn't mind this, but way, way,
WAY
over priced and silly nose cone doesn't help!

PM me if you know anyone selling an S2R that's not already listed online.

Well done Rod ,now don't make any rash decisions a nice red s2r1000 will come along
. usually the way heaps for sale when your not ready.
And Paul shame on you for even suggesting that bike
That s2r on bike sales i would want to see something to confirm that milage. as for the head light and bug screen not to hard to put back to stock.
And as you said top dollar and being a dealer probably won't budge on the price much.

There are other options for re-keying without the redkeys. Northside simply quoted you the cost to replace the cluster and ecu with new. That's why its $3k. The workarounds still cost and are quite involved. I wouldn't take it on unless I had too.
Good option to find another bike.............unless of coarse its going to stupid $$$

see my previous post on keys
new key cloned to the original $100
always use missing keys as a negotiation trick but dont be put off by it
i would try to find out some history on the bike first and some careful inspection

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

Looking for a front cylinder head for a 2000 m900. As long as the mating surfaces and seats are OK doesn't matter if has stains, dings or broken fins. Probly what you put in the scrap bin last week was just what I need :-) Oh, and um, did I mention cheep ?
PM please

I had this mid pipe custom made for my S2R800 by a local craftsman. He had done a few before mine and was recommended to me by two fellow monster owners.
I had it made to get rid of the ugly and heavy cat converter but kept the original end cans. I think it was on my bike for about 10,000km before I picked up a full Arrows system with carbon end cans. Since then its been boxed up in the garage but its now time to let it go to a new home. It is free of any dents but does have some pitting from general use although its limited to the underside so your not likely to see it unless you are laying under the bike.
This was specifically made for an S2R800 so I'm not sure if it will fit anything else. You will need to keep the first part of the pipe from the front cylinder, the "s" pipes and the end cans. Importantly, it has a crossover between the two pipes which is essential for good performance and sound.
I recall this cost me about $400. I'll let it go for $250 plus postage.
One more time before it goes to ebay. Anyone interested, let me know.
