You know it would be the luck of the poor sap that pulled her out to get sued for millions of dollars.

really

you people would watch a person burn to death?

I guess I should clarify. I fully agree with twhat they did do.

they didn't just sit there and watch her burn....they were trying to put the fire out, since she wouldn't get out of the car.

I agree with their course of action. I don't see anything wrong with what they did.

make the beast with two backs that. I had a friend that was bi-polar and when she went ballistic she wans't herself at all.
This lady probably wasn't herself either. Open the door, punch her good and hard and drag her ass out.
She'll thank you the next day when she's herself again.

Servere bi-polar is really hard to treat. You have to get the meds just right and with really severe cases they kill themselves more often
than not before you can get the meds correct to prevent the super highs and lows.

Isn't that forcefully removing her from the car and could be charged assault?

Doesn't it seem unfortunate that someone that unstable can get a driving license?

Seems odd, too.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The people there had no way to know she was bi-polar.  They tried to get her out of the car, and when that wasn't working they tried to put out the fire.  They did what they could but I don't blame them for not putting their own lives at risk.

That is what seperates the people labeled as heros from the general populace.

She made her own decision on to stay. I would have tried to put the fire out and tried not to look at her. You cant save people who don't want to be saved, you can only show them the door, so to speak.
