oct. 26, 0930 at coast guard base sand island, $15 for the run, $5 more to enter your bike in the show at the end. (starts and stops at sand island... "motorcycle show, contests, prizes, music, and entertainment")

might be worth checking out. at least since they say they're promoting safety awareness  Smiley

That's a Sunday morning. Are you sure that you can make it?  Roll Eyes Grin

As for that cupcake bit, I'll still have a bike of my own. Where's the "giving the finger" smiley when we need it?

Oct 26... I think I'll be on island.  I know I don't work.  So I've got that going for me.

Ok, called Sand Island and got an update.  You normally have to have both a DoD decal and ID to get a bike on the CG base, but the guy said that there will be people down there to "sign on" people that are not affiliated with DoD.  From there, the only other on base stop will be up on Schofield, which no longer requires decals.  You will need to have either an ID or one day pass to get on there, but that should already be taken care of from the CG base.  The one hiccup will be that you have to have a high-vis vest to ride on the CG base.  The guy I spoke with said that there will be people there with extra vests though in case riders do  not have their own.  So, who's going?  Wink

I'm leaning towards steaks & wine up at Tristan's.  That precludes a Poker Run for a number of reasons. We'll see. Stay tuned for breaking news later.  Vino!

Not in any way, shape or form. I don't think I'm in the same league and I still have to drive all the way back to Kailua even if I'm driving the ultimate 240D stealth machine.  By doing the Hale Hinkley fest tomorrow night that means I have to grocery shop & do laundry Sun. morning plus I still have to get the tail light section back together. It's all time & priorities.
