Bonnie and I made it home safely, and I can only assume Dan did too, he followed us back and lives on the next exit.

Good to see everyone, windy ride home though.  Nice to put more faces to names, and good lunch too.

I couldn't have said it better. Going to take the pooch for a spin, I could use a stretch of the legs. I'll check the thread about white cat and see if anyone knows anything. Hope everyone is at homebase and in one piece. I'll start a new thread full of ranting and raving about emergency contact info. Angry

Several new folks and their friends are coming and I really don't want to be left on the side of the road telling an EMS tech "ahhh, I don't know his name and I don't know who to contact"... it makes me feel even more stupid than I already am. Grin

Does this shit sound familiar???!!! Angry Never again!

I forgot to say how nice it was to meet all the new folks today. I've been distracted by all the stuff about Marquez. Besides his unfortunate accident I had a really nice day. Windy? Yes, but it has been much worse. Tongue That's a nice little ride (nothing but sweepers) and lunch is always good. Nice to have lunch with you all and have the Magny Cours WSBK on the big screen!

Sorry that it ran so long today, it couldn't be helped. I know it screwed several of you up time-wise and you had to slab it back. Those that rode back the way we came had a good return run. Nothing crazy, just a nice tempo pace. The traffic was almost non-existant on the way back. Weird. Considering how much traffic we had on the ride up. Maybe it was because it was around lunch time and churches were letting out. Who knows, but it was significantly better going back.

Look forward to the next ride with the group. Hope all the new folks enjoyed themselves and didn't find the riding or speed offensive. That's not what we are about. Believe me, it's been much faster but who cares. It's not a race and you are never encouraged to outride your skills. We wait for everyone no matter how slow you want to go. Thems the rules. waytogo [moto]

See ya'll soon!!

Thanks for organizing this ride Brian.  Aside from Marquez' crash, it was a good riding day.  PERFECT weather and some of the nicest people you're ever likely to meet - all in one convenient location!

It was great meeting all the "new" folks today - I hope you'll find the time to ride with us again sometime soon.  I'm thinking a trip to Hard 8 BBQ some Sunday sounds pretty good...

Y'all have a great week  waytogo

And one more thing:  when I was pulling into the garage this afternoon I noticed the SBK had rolled 18,000 miles   Grin  I've almost caught up with Svoloch...

Yeah baby - gotta luv those superbikes  Evil
