You guys ought to look up Lazareth's other bike creations.  He's pretty famous for some of his radical designs.

Tom?  Thats your old bike isn't it?

Yes it is. I was a bit surprised when I saw it in the pic. From the looks of it Yuu has been taking very good care of it.  waytogo

I love it and applaud the creativity but I would last only long enough to ride to the local burn unit for a skin graft on my inner thighs.

Those pipes look like they would do some damage.

Get rid of that exhaust and it would look sweet.

There was a pic of one floating around a few years back on TOB.  Anyone got that pic?  I believe it was computer generated pic for a contest a few years ago?  Anyone have that pic?  I know someone built the actual bike but I don't think it was the one in this thread.  Seems like it looked a bit better than this one.  I'd still take it though!!  waytogo

I am no engineer, but I don't think downforce should be caused by weight.  On a totally unrelated note, love the CF hood.

Unfortunately SuperSports don't hold their value well. (especially in comparison to Monsters) The older pre-98's in the classic configuration do much better. The newer ones with fuel injection -- cheap and once you sell off the bodywork (good money), etc -- even cheaper still.  No immobilizer ECU problems until the very end of production.  You can find them still at dealerships that are 4+ years old.  Recently I saw a new DS1000 with the old-style bodywork / fairings wrapped around it -- pretty cool.
