I thought these were great when I first ran across them a few years ago. I believe they first debuted for the S4, and all the DSS Monsters with the same suspension setup. While you gain a bit of weight, you gain lots of stiffness in the rear, not unlike the braced swingarm options that are out there as well. So you are gaining performance.
Its too bad it isn't for hooped Monsters. Bummer.
