So... CSS video bike. My 4th time on a track.
excuses up front: (
) they said ride the video bike at 80 percent of what your comfortable with so as not to look like an idiot crashing it trying to show off. I'm still riding it like a twin and not reving it at all (I was 1/2 second faster on my bike than their zx6). I was working on body position when I rode the video bike so I tended to coast up to braking areas and not early and not wring it's neck on the straights. I'm just slow. (that should cover it)
With the excuses out of the way, enjoy:
oh...while this is slow...it is knee down in the corners speed anyway. [moto]

Looking good, Chris.
Much better than most folks look at their 4th trackday. It makes me wanna get out to the track RIGHT now. That vid is shot from a really cool position. You lookin' for feedback or did ya just wanna share?

I've done a lot of racing in cars, used to race bicycles and NEVER thought I would want to get into tracking with a motorcycle.....
... after that video I am getting the itch. Looks fun, and it looks like you were doing well.

Cool video.
That is a very interesting camera position. Did you take any pictures of how it's mounted?

He is riding the "camera bike" of CSS. The camera is mounted on the back of the bike up over the riders right hand shoulder.
I rode it in Aug. at New Jersey Motosports Park. It is an interesting set up and looks like this.

Either.
It's a cool camera postion that makes for good opportunities for feedback because it's not just the bike. (which is the whole point that day)

people talk about the rhythm section going up the hill....I can understand that when I watch AMA racing there (flick, flick, flick, flick), but at my speed it's a bit white-boy rhythm.
Like watching a pimply teen learn how to waltz.
