I do like Fontanas as of late. They play decent music to me anyway, Misfits, Blackflag, Specials, etc.

Any of the above would work for me.  The Ear is a bit of a walk for Nate though, not to mention it will be crowded and has been pretty much taken over by the GS crowd.  Getting a large table will also be difficult.  Sweet and Viscious might cause GC to punch yuppie scum in the throat :-\

I'm afraid any place we go that's close by will be filled with pretentious folks hence my statement above... the owner of La Esquina does owe me though (as much as I'd loved to scissorkick his ass)... regardless, I'm now 50/50 about whether I'll be able to make it or not. It all depends on my homegirl's schedule which I won't know about until the day of.

An even longer walk for Nate than The Ear, and moving up to the East Village also opens up a whole bunch of new places.  Are we eating?  Budget? type of food?  Is Zeke going to be there?  I'm not anti Ear, since moto parking is easy.
