Come on Jarhead. Answer the question.
That explains a lot.

OK - in two previous posts you replied "Ahhh. I dont think it would feel mushy then. I have 2.5inch rise on my tommasellis (or something very close to that number) and it feels solid" and "a good 2 inches lower than stock. This is due to the fact that mine are below triple" to questions regarding clip ons. These two statements imply that you in fact do have clip ons. Then you go on to say that you don't. Am I missing something here?
If I had come back and checked I would of answered the question.
Heres a time line for a certain painter who is going to lose sleep over this.
Nov 07 - I installed Clip ons w/2.5" rise onto an S2R1000, thats pee cup style. Easy install no issues.
Summer'08 - helped Chchadder install apex no rise clip ons on his 695 with coffins. Many many clearance problems.
Recently in October 08' -stopintime asks
Quote
Were there issues with clearance on bikes with
coffin style reservoirs
? Not so when using clip ons with rise?
I can't tell you, i dont have
coffin style reservoirs.
which ChChadder already pointed out.

That quote is my fault. I had read a comment you made in the thread about Marine motorcycle deaths. I thought you said you were a Jarhead, but now that I reread it you were talking about riding on Campus in the ROTC (
).
Oh yeah and I call bullshit as well.

Keep in mind...
I don't give a make the beast with two backs about you.
You spew bullshit.
You have what?...
like a year of experience with bikes and you talk like you have a lifetime of experience.
I'm in a bad mood.
You might want to reconsider your approach.

I dont have clip ons so i cant tell you. I know that no rise = ALOT of clearence issues. if there were rise, i think it would make it much easier.
what do you have on
your
bike? I'm still not clear.

Did I do something to you?
Statler, I have tomasselli Clip ons.
2 inches lower than stock is in refrence to the position opposed to Stock magura bars (however you spell that brand). If i mounted the tomasellis above the triples, it would be stock height.
and that last quote, again, is suppose to be coffin style resoviors, not clip ons. My mistake.

No rush, I will not race you. I asked Bill Swatt which height the ones in the coming pictures are - to be able to plan the height vs stock height. For me it's between these and a Rizoma - both will supply sweep, Swatts more than Rizoma. Rizoma will be higher, I think. Still undecided and will probably not pull any trigger until next summer.
