White is the sum of all colors.
more color = more weight,

white = slowest.

Black is the absence of all color
less color = less weight

black is the fastest.

of the colors,
red has a wavelength of 700nm and violet has a wavelength of 400nm. longer wavelength = less frequency. High frequency = faster. so violet is the fastest. But since ducati doesn't make a violet we will just go with the next fastest color, Blue. But Blue was only released in the 04 05 S4R, so those are the fastest monsters. EVER. period end of story.

Red is actually the slowest color. That's why Rossis blue bike is faster. Although there is white, the blue makes up for it.
Stoners red bike slows it down much more than all that white.

If Ducati went blue, Stoner would always win.

He Man, I loved your post!!!!  I think the logic is spot on:)  I love how you narrowed it down to the 04 05 S4R-which I believe is one of the best looking monsters.....  So technically a Dark S4R or S4Rs-would be the fastest, even though not offered by Ducati, monster out there?!?!?!?

Well that settle's it for me, I am turning my S4 into a Dark and settle for 2nd or 3rd fastest

Primarily red with some white has been proven, without a shadow of a doubt, to be at LEAST 20 to 25 feet faster than any other color.

Flames are an indication of drag.  The more Drag the slower the bike.

Depending on the position of the sun, I would think white would make you the fastest. White reflects most of the suns rays, and with the sun behind you, in effect, your white paint is acting like a solar sail, pushing you along faster.

There is of course the down side of riding into the sun.

Now worries. I think 3 beers from now I will have this all sorted out.

What we see, and what is, are two different things young grass hoppa

What we don't see are the billion other colors out there that we cannot grasp because our eyes cant perceive them and never will. Even though a red light is reflected of a surface originally from white light, all the colors are still on the tank.

Since black is the absence of all color, color stays away from black, color = white light. so light never touches black. Aka color is actually racist. not white.
