Considering the influence we had with Amsoil in getting a filter built , perhaps we can get them to re-consider their sponsorship on TOB. In that direction, I sent them this:
This is not a question, but a comment. Until recently I was a long-term member of an online forum for Ducati motorcycles. You are a sponsor for what is left of that forum, which was bought by a Canadian company, Vertical Scope. They have changed that site from the premier on-line Ducati site in the world into just another cookie-cutter advertising platform. I feel strongly enough about this that I will no longer purchase Amsoil products as long as you support this company. I currently purchase oil for 2 Ducatis, a pick-up, a van, assorted lawnmowers, snowblowers, generators, compressors, etc. I also purchase, or am responsible for the purchase of all the oil for the equipment my company owns, 3 work trucks, two vans, landscaping equipment, 2 diesel tractors, a man-lift, more compressors, generators, etc. Furthermore, I will no longer recommend to the friends I do oil changes for in their cars, trucks and motorcycles to use your products. This message is going to be forwarded to the new Ducati site started by the more than 1000 members who have since left the old site. I suggest you go to

I love your products, I have used them exclusively for several years, and was part of the impetus that got you to design a filter for the Ducati motorcycles. This is not something I want to do, but the corporate destruction of something that was once so unique is not a thing to be taken lightly.
