Ive seen him on super bikes before, they also showed him cruising with his friends on the street. An amazing display of determination and positive attitude. [thumbsup]

I really want to know what his set up is, for shifting and rear brake.  I wonder if he used to ride and got injured from a motocycle accident?

I read a short piece on this fellow a little while ago - so recollection's a little IZ_...

He was injured in a moto accident and has no use of his legs at the time of writing.  His friends got together and repaired and modified the crashed bike, it was a jap i4, so it might be the one in that video.  They fitted it with that stand you see, on an actuator triggered by a switch on the bars.  For shifting it's a pair of buttons on the bar that trigger a solenoid to move the changer.  For the rear brake... I'm not sure about that one.  But I've seen stunta products that move the rear brake controls up to the bar as a smaller secondary lever.

I've also seen tape of a guy that had use of only one arm riding an unmodified bike  - well.

It's great to see what people can accomplish with a little thinking and some guts.

Go man go
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Monsterlover,

That's the coolest vid I've seen in quite a while, thanks for posting it up.  [thumbsup]

Very inspiring!  :)

Probably has a thumb-lever for the rear brake.
Brembo makes one.

Very inspiring!  Awesome to see people with such positive "GO Get Em" attitudes.  We need more people around like that who don't let anything stand it their way!  Thanks for posting that vid!   [clap]

Looks like he has some use of his right leg... at the end, when he takes his foot off the bike, he lets go of it, and puts it in place in the chair under it's own power.

Not that that takes anything away from gettin' out there and doin' it.

Why can I only imagine myself getting impaled on those things protruding from his bike?

Glad he is doing it tho.  He's cool like  [bacon]

That guy is my new hero. [clap]
It is very cool to see people who just refuse to quit.  Honestly, I feel really lazy now that I watched that video.  Better get out and enjoy life because we all know that it is just too short.

Oh yeah...that bike has frickin' landing gear!

That put a big smile on my face today.  [thumbsup]

When I went to see the dirt flat track riding in my area a few weeks back there was a guy with 1 leg racing.

It was his left leg and they were going around the track counter clockwise so I am sure that even made it harder for him.
