how long have you been trying to start it?  the battery may have gotten weak with all the cranking its doing.

take the SC1000 for trackday Evil

i would think swapping cans wouldn't affect it soo much where you can't start it,

between 5 - 10 minutes

That or get new jets that will accommodate the extra air mass that's entering/exiting the motor.

Hey Ron,

I wish we had taken some better pics when the carbs were apart.  You said that you thought those vacuum needles looked "different" to what you've had experience with.  I was looking around on the Dynojet website and found this picture.  This needle looks exactly like what was in her M600.  The other bits even look familiar to me.  What do you think?

Throw a tender on the bike and check it tomorrow.  Stepping away from it for a night might be good waytogo

Maybe by then, RichD will post up to shed some light on possible solutions

10mins on the highway or twisties?

nice one  Wink

Let it sit about 10 min, hook some jumper cables to it
pull the filter and spray some starter fluid in the carb.......it will start  (don't forget to talk to her.  Tell her you believe in her  Wink )

Completely--the open box is something we discussed on one of the runs for possibly contributing to the lean condition.

Lyndy--if covering part of the box helps, you are more than welcome to use my cover at the track (it should fit, yes ?). Since my bike will be parked  Undecided, I will not be needing it.  Wink

Thanks CJ - Looks like I might need it  Undecided
