What software do you use?

I used to use netmeeting at work... now just trying to setup simple point-to-point so my mom can see her grandson
We were playing with yahoo messenger and windows live, delay sucks on both though windows live seems to freeze less.

I don't care about sound quality, using the phone for audio.

Any other suggestions?

you can try web based services as welll... such as stickam.com, windowslive (msn), or even skype or aim... all those have video features available for both mac and pc...

I use a custom web app that a buddy of mine built.  No download required.  It works really awesome.  Unfortunately he's still working on it so I don't want to give out too many details.

Cool.  I'll let you know.  Hosting won't be an issue.  It's just him getting off his ass and finishing it up that is.
