Hi everyone,

I live in downtown Brooklyn (Flatbush & Tillary area) and am getting tired of my usual routes.  Wanted to know if anyone can recommend some destinations for me?  Especially some staying in Brooklyn/Queens or Long Island.  Nice routes would be great too.  Would love to find an area with light traffic and some scenic twisties... but that might just be a pipe dream without heading into NJ which is a bit more of a jaunt than I'd like.

Thanks!

Only if you find me a cow that can fly...

no good routes around here. The only route i can even begin to remotely suggest (which isnt a route at all, just a midnight ride for me) is on shore rd on the belt. you have to get out of NYC to get anywhere nice.

Another one of my favorite short jaunts is Saw mill rd. its nice to get away from the city for a quick hour or two.

If you change you mind about distance, let me know and I would be happy to share what I know.

I have a nice little route out in LI if you want, little traffic especially now. It is going to take you almost an hour to get there, so it might be better to just go up to the skills.

Well let's go ahead and open it up then.  Let me know some good places to go riding.  I know it's getting cold, but I want to get some good rides in before the ice starts forming.  Thanks guys!
