Anyone planning to hang around for the Afterburner track day or Superbike School?

Afterburner is usually on the Monday after the racing and the SBK School is the 2 or 3 days following that.

I'm going to hang around and do levels 1 and 2 (Tuesday & Wednesday) before flying back to Brisbane. Anyone else up for it and care to split accommodation and keep me company for a couple of days?

Cheers

I'll count you in when we're working out the accom details, and of course you can come to play in the high country. Currently we're thinking about day 2 being Jindabyne to Beechworth via deap horse gap, hotham etc, and day 3 doing from beechworth through both the spurs...

Would you just meet us somewhere, or need accom in either Jindy or Beechworth (sorry, not quite sure where in Vic your coming from)

Sorta throwing around the idea of meeting up in Jindabyne (or Corryong) depending on day 2 being the Wednesday which gives me 1 1/2 days to get to Jindabyne.  I'm travelling from 300kms west of Melbourne.  And that's if I still have a job by then (which is the question of the moment) If I don't have a job I'll have all the time in the world to get to Jindabyne but I'll be sleeping in the skip bin!!!!

Hi Palooka
I'd be very interested in your honest review of the SBK school.  I've heard they're tough.

Where's your priorities?   Hear that the price of airfares is falling all the time in the current gloomy economic climate.  West coast US to east coast Aus not that far.   Smiley

We Americans already tried that. It was called the last 8 years. Didn't work out too well, did it?

I meant spending your own money, not the rest of the world's. Anyway it did work out well for us while it lasted ... certainly created bling buying opportunities for us Aussies.

But seriously, the state of the economy is not determined by the stockmarket ... it is determined by consumer spending.

So back on SBK topic, did you guys get together?
Nick & Vince that is, I`m guessing from what I`m being told that the heat is keeping people in the pool
or in the house.

Hope we get an idea of Accomm soon and bike parking as I might have a new toy on the trip......
