Since cold weather is coming I am thinking about getting some handgaurds. Anyone have any recommendations? I have been looking at motocross style ones and figure i could set them up to work. Thanks ahead of time!

I was thinking the same thing.  From what I've read, the DP Multistrada guards work on a Monster.  Anyone have pics of this?

I'd bet any pair of generic motorcross hand guards would probably work too, for probably alot less coin.

Today I made cardboard templates then cut up some thin galvanized steel and attempted to solder it. Came out kind of crappy so I will try again during the week sometime. Its my own design, pretty simple but I think it will get the job done for colder riding. Only real problem I have come across is getting it mounted securely. The points to connect are somewhat non existant but I'll find some way to do it.

Hand guards need brackets to act a braces. You should just pick up a cheap hand guard bracket and designed you CF handguards around that.
